January: Academics & Preparation
Skills for Success Workshop: Resume Building (Week 1, Jan 4-8)
Focus: Academic
Description: Sessions on writing effective resumes and cover letters for summer jobs and college applications.
Audience: Grades 10-12
High School Testing Prep Weekend (Week 2, Jan 11-15)
Focus: Academic
Description: Focused workshops and practice tests for upcoming standardized and end-of-year exams.

Plant & Flower Sale Kick-Off (Week 3, Jan 18-22)
Focus: Community/Fundraising
Description: Pre-order drive for spring plants/herbs to be picked up in early May. Proceeds support the school garden club.

Secondary School Netball Competition (Week 4, Jan22-31)

Description: Friendly competition between different secondary Schools around the country.

Spring Spirit Week (Week 1, Feb 1-5)

Description: Daily themed dress-up days (e.g., Decades Day, Tropical Day) ending with a Friday pep rally.

Poetry Slam & Open Mic Night (Week 2, Feb 8-12)
Focus: Arts/Wellness
Description: Students share original poetry, stories, and acoustic music in a casual, cafe-style environment.

Car Wash Fundraiser (Week 3, Feb 15-19)
Focus: Fundraising/Community
Description: Student-run car wash in the main parking lot to raise funds for a specific class or club.

Earth Day Celebration (Tuesday, Feb 22)

Description: Tree planting ceremony on school grounds and a recycling competition between classes.

Description: Friendly competition between different colour houses in the school through the sport of ‘Track and Field”

Teacher vs. Senior Charity Match (Week 1, May 6-10)
Focus: Sports/Fundraising
Description: Fun, competitive soccer or softball game between faculty and the graduating class; ticket sales go to charity.

Student Showcase & Exhibition Night (Week 2, Mar13-17)

Description: Display of student projects, artwork, science fair winners, and portfolio reviews.
